Ernesto Cabral is a 25 year-old student in third year at OCAD University. Ernesto’s art is a mixture of digital and analog collages, as well as stop motion-like animations sourced from archival imagery, analog and digital photography as well as video editing.

Ernesto’s style of art is contemporary, and strives to highlight the intersection between art and basketball through the eyes of fans. As an immigrant, Ernesto’s art speaks to younger generations of newcomers/marginalized youth, letting them know there is a place where they belong in this community.
